Sahalesh Yuwa Club emerged victorious in the quarterfinal match of the 6th Belbari International Invitational Gold Cup held in Siraha Belbari.

Team from Siraha defeated India's UKFC 4-0.

The match took place at the Lakshmimarg Stadium in Belbari, Morang. In a dominant display of skill and strategy, Sahales showcased their prowess as Faizal, Fode Fofana, Fofana Ibrahim, and Hari Karki found the back of the net for the team. Their relentless performance led to a 3-0 lead for Sahales in the first half, with another goal added in the second half.

Sahales maintained control of the game with their aggressive style of play, keeping UKF India at bay. The first goal of the game came from foreign player Faisal in the 24th minute, taking advantage of a defensive error by UKAC to score in a one-on-one situation. Hari Karki then added to the tally in the 36th minute, capitalizing on a pass from Fode Fofana, further extending Sahales' lead to 2-0.

The team continued their relentless pursuit, scoring another goal in the 39th minute, with Fofana Evraim finding the net after a pass from Vishal Ghalan. In the second half, Sahales continued to apply pressure, and in the 60th minute, a shot by Wat Fode slipped through UKFC goalkeeper Rupak Koyu's hands and found the back of the net. With that goal, Sahales secured their victory, maintaining a clean sheet for the remainder of the match.

Fofana Ibrahim of Sahalesh was recognized as the 'Man of the Match' and was awarded a cash prize of 5,000. The upcoming match on Monday will feature a showdown between Rajarani Football Club Dhankuta and Brigade Boys Club, Lalitpur.
