Local Bodies Martyr Memorial Makwanpur Gold Cup Kicks Off

Local bodies Martyr memorial Makwanpur gold cup got underway at Piple stadium, Hetauda on Saturday.

Hosts Regal Resort Makwanpur XI defeated 10-man NJJYC Simara 2-0 to enter quarterfinals.

Defender Janak Koirala was sent off in 55th minute after fouling Pritam Syangbo.

Pritam Syangbo (12') and Faguram Tharu (39') scored apiece for the winners.

Aliu from Makwanpur became the player of the match.

Satdobato youth club is playing against Nepal APF FC on Sunday.

12 teams are taking part in the event, which is organized by Makwanpur DFA. The champions will get NRs 15 lakh.
