Maziya Win The Dhivehi Premier League 2021/22 Title

Maziya Sports and Recreation, the team where Nepali goalkeeper Kiran Chemjong plays have won the league title of the Dhivehi Premier League 2021/22.

Maziya defeated Da Grande 1-0 on Friday evening to add another three points in the league table. With this victory, Maziya have won the league with two games in hand.

A goal from Tana Dominguez in the first half was enough for Maziya to secure their third consecutive league title.

Maziya have 54 points from 19 matches while their closest rivals Eagles, have 46 points from as many matches. 

Kiran had previously won the DPL title in 2018 with TC Sports as well.
