UK: LG Lions Win Title Of 19th Gurkha Cup
LG Lions have lifted the title of 19th Gurkha cup football tournament in UK.
LG Lions defeared Brigade Boys 1-0 in the final match played recently at Aldershot.
The champions received 2500 Pound while runners up team walked away with 1500 Pound.
In veterans category, Brigade Boys Club defeated Ilam FC to lift the title and received 1200 Pound.
Rushmoor borough mayor Bruce Thomas, Roshan Khanal from Nepal Embassy, NRNA UK president Punam Gurung, Tamu Dhee UK president Hit Kaji Gurung and other guests distributed prizes to the winners.
More than 5000 Nepalese took part in the festival.
