
African Roots Association, Cameroon has entered semifinals of 3rd Makwanpur gold cup football tournament.
African Roots came from a goal down to beat Bagmati club, Sarlahi to enter last four on Tuesday in Hetauda.
The visitors scored two late goals. Bessek scored the leveling goal in 89th minute and Loius secured the win in 90+2 minute. Earlier, Stephen Samir had scored for Bagmati in 25th minute.
Skipper Mousa became the player of the match and received NRs 10,000 cash. The African team will play against Tribhuwan Army FC in semifinal match on Thursday.
In the first semifinal match on Wednesday, hosts Makwanpur XI will play against Machhindra club.
The champions of the event will get NRs 10 lakh. The MVP will get one Royal Enfield motorbike.
