Kavre district football associaition is organizing Kavre gold cup from Chaitra 7.

This is the first time Kavre is going to host gold cup in district.

The championship has a winning purse of NRs 4 lakh while runners up team will walk away with Rs 2 lakh.

The organizers have invited teams from Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Kailali, Dolakha and Sindhupalchowk.

The event will be played at Dhulikhel stadium.

Dhulikhel municipality, Banepa municipality, Panauti municipality, Panchkhal, Mandandeupur, Namobuddha, Roshi, Temal and Bethanchowk rural municipalities have provided their support to the organizers.

DFA president Bikash Narayan Shrestha, general secy Kishor Barun, secretary Jayoj Shrestha and other officials have asked support from all to make the event successful.
