Nepal Army Wins Title Of 1st Martyr's Ridamahang-Ramalihang Aathpahariya Women's Gold Cup
Nepal Army women's team defeated Nepal APF Women's team 3-1 on penalties on Friday to lift the title of 1st Martyr's Ridamahang-Ramalihang Aathpahariya Women's Gold Cup.
Both teams played 0-0 draw in regulation time before inviting a spot kick battle.
Nepal APF had beaten Army team in the final of CoAS 7th international women's championship weeks back in Kathmandu.
The champions received Nrs 2 lakh and runners up team got Nrs 1 lakh.
Dhankuta Mayor Chintan Tamang, Dhankuta DFA president Govinda Rai and other distinguished guests distributed prizes to the winners.
Aathpariya Samaj organized the championship.
