Maldives Removes Coach After Dismal Show In 13th SA Games 2019

Maldives FA has removed German coach Peter Segrt after dismal show in 13th SA Games 2019.

Maldives lost two matches and played two draws to bow out from medal race.

'Upon discussion with the Head Coach, we have come to an amicable agreement to end the contract between him and Maldives FA effective immediate. ‬Thanking him on behalf of the football family for the success & the development. ‬We wish him all the best in his future endeavors", FAM President, Bassam Adeel Jaleel said in a release.

Segrt had led Maldives to the glory in previous edition of SAFF championship.
