Host Nepal is facing Bangladesh in the first match of SAFF U-16 Women's Championship, today.

Bangladesh is the runner-up of the last edition.

Today's match, which will start at 3 PM at Chyasal Stadium, is important for both teams. Nepal will be supported by the home ground and supporters to some extent.

Both teams are also strong candidates for the finals. A total of four teams from South Asia are participating in the competition. The top two teams of the single round robin league will enter the finals.

Remember, India got off to a great start with a 7-0 win over Bhutan in the opening match on Friday. The final match is scheduled to be held on Chaitra 10.
