Ward No. 13 and Ward No. 15 have succeeded in entering the quarterfinals of the Ward No. 15 Ward President's Cup Knockout Football Tournament held on Sunday in Hetauda.

Ward No. 13 defeated Ward No. 14 by 1-0 in the first match at Gouritar Stadium on Tuesday and managed to enter the quarterfinals. The goal scored by Manish Ghalan became decisive. Manish Ghalan, who scored the decisive goal, was declared the man of the match.

Similarly, in the second match today, Ward No. 15 defeated Ward No. 16 by 1-0 and managed to enter the quarterfinals. Rishi Ram Moktan, a player from Ward No. 15, scored the decisive goal in the match. Ritesh Shrestha of the winning team was declared Man of the Match. The man of the match of both the matches won the trophy along with cash 1500.

According to Gobind Negi, the tournament coordinator, the first quarter-final match will be played between Ward No. 7 and Ward No. 17 and the second match will be played between Ward No. 5 and Ward No. 12.

The winner of the competition, which is going to be organized by Hetouda Sub-Metropolitan City No. 15 Ward Sports Development Committee, will receive 100,000 cash along with the title, while the runner-up will receive 50,000. The final match will be held on the 18th of Chaitra.
