Province 1 Pema Youth Club Enters Final Of 4th Mills Gold Cup

In the fourth edition of the Mills Gold Cup football tournament, home team Pema Yuva Club Biratnagar has reached the finals.

Pema Yuva Club reached the final by defeating Koshi Police Office Rani Biratnagar 3-1 in the final semi-final match held on Thursday at the Biratnagar Jutmill Stadium.

After winning, Pema Yuva Club will play Armed Police Force (APF) Pakli, Sunsari for the title in the final on Saturday. Milan Rai, Samir Rai and Kuldeep Karki scored goals for Pema Yuva Kabal. Ujjal Rai scored the consolation goal for the police.

In the 29th minute of the match, Police's Ujjal Rai took the lead by scoring a goal. However, the lead of the police could not last even 14 minutes. From the second half, young Kabal played aggressively and in the 43rd minute, Milan Rai scored an attractive goal with a header from inside the D-box and brought the game to a tie. In the 61st minute, Pema's Samir Rai doubled the lead. After the second half, Samir, who entered the field in place of Sourav Limbu, converted Milan Rai's cross pass into a goal. Pema's Kuldeep Karki scored a goal to ensure the team's victory after four minutes of doubling the lead.

Milan Rai of the youth club was declared the player of the match. He got three thousand rupees in cash.

The winner of the competition organized by Mills Gold Cup Football Trust will get Rs 2 lakh 11 thousand 100 and the runner-up will get Rs 1 lakh 11 thousand 100.
