Dharan city academy has entered quarterfinals of 5th Refugee challenge cup football tournament at Pathari, Morang.

Dharan City academy defeated BRC FANS 3-1 on Monday to enter last eight. Prakash Budhathoki scored a brace while Amos Limbu scored another for the winners. Ajay Rajbanshi scored one for the losing side.

Two goal hero Budhathoki became the player of the match.

FFC Dharan will take on Belbari FC on Tuesday.

Youth Friendly Centre and BRC Bhutan are jointly organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of NRs 1,01,000. Runners up team will get NRs 51,000.

Sector I is the main sponsor of the event. Teams from province 1 are taking part in the event.
