1st Karjanha deputy mayor cup football tournament got underway at Bandipur, Siraha on Monday.

FC Mundial Hetauda defeated Dangihat FC Morang in sudden death to enter semifinals. Both teams played 1-1 draw in regulation time.

FC Mundial goalie Anish Deula became the man of the match.

Bagmati FC Sarlahi will play against Birgunj United on Tuesday.

Babatal Youth Club & Bandipur FC are jointly organizing the event. Karjanha municipality ward number 2 is the main tournament organizer.



Eight teams from Bagmati province, Province 2 & province 1 are taking part in the event, which has a winning prize of NRs 2,22,000.
