News ANFA Confirms 34 Players To Be In National Team Camp For Upcoming FIFA World Cup Qualifiers

ANFA has confirmed 34 players to be in national team camp for upcoming FIFA World cup qualifiers.

34 players have underwent PCR test (on Monday & Tuesday).

If reports are negative, players and the coaching staffs will stay at ANFA complex to prepare for the matches. The training will start from August 17 at Nepal Army HQ grounds.

Nepal is hosting Chinese Taipei, Australia and Jordan at home in the month of October and November.

ANFA hasn't officially confirmed the final squad.

Players for national team camp are:

GKs: Kiran Chemjong, Bikesh Kuthu, Dip Karki, Bishal Shrestha

DFs: Ajit Bhandari, Amit Tamang, Suman Aryal, Saroj Dahal, Ananta Tamang, Rohit Chand, Bikash Khawas, Ranjit Dhimal, Dilen Loktam, Chirring Gurung, Devendra Tamang

MFs: Tej Tamang, Arik Bista, Sesehang Limbu, Bikram Lama, Sujal Shrestha, Mikchhen Tamang, Bishal Rai, Darshan Gurung, Ravi Paswan, Pujan Uparkoti, Suvash Gurung, Sunil Bal, Anjan Bista

FWs: Aashish Lama, Bharat Khawas, Abhisek Rijal, George Prince Karki, Bimal Rana, Nawayug Shrestha

The coaching staffs haven't called up notable players like Bimal Gharti Magar, Dinesh Rajbanshi and Santosh Tamang. These players were earlier banned by ANFA for a certain period for violating code of conduct.
