28th Triveni cup got underway at Besisahar sahaji grounds on Saturday.

Hosts Triveni yuwa club and Nepal Army Lamjung played a friendly match to inaugurate the prestigious tournament.

Nepal Army Lamjung defeated Triveni yuwa club 2-1 in the friendly match.

Besisahar mayor Guman Singh Aryal inaugurated the championship. Club president Shijan Shrestha has appealed all football lovers to enjoy the matches.

There are four matches all set for today:

1) Mct Besishahar v/s Sundarbazzar y.c ( 8:00 AM)

2) Shree Jung Gadh V/S Active Gorkha T.c ( 10:00 AM)

3) Lamjung Marshyandi V/S Bhansar Ekta ( 1:00 PM)

4) Buddha Y.c V/s United Sera ( 3:00 PM)
