7th Chadani cup got underway at Kanchan rural municipality, Rupandehi on Saturday.

Bishwo Shanti yuwa club Saljhandi defeated New Rising yuwa club 7-1 in the opening match. Bishwas Shrestha scored a hat trick and Alan Thapa and Dipen Singh Thakuri scored brace each for the winners.

Suraj Gupta scored a consolation goal for New Rising club.

Chadani yuwa club is organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of Nrs 1,20,000.

Earlier, ANFA exco member, NOC member and Rupandehi DFA president Dirgha Bahadur KC inaugurated the event.
