News Manish Dangi Arrives Kathmandu From South Korea For SAFF U18 Championship

Manish Dangi, a youth sensation who is based in South Korea, has arrived Kathmandu to join Nepal U18 team.

Dangi reported to the camp soon after landing Kathmandu few days ago. He was also involved in a friendly match played against U23 team on Tuesday at ANFA complex. 

Nepal U18 coach Chet Narayan Shrestha informed GoalNepal that he was impressed with his display and was convinced that he would make great impact to the team.

"I am happy with his display", said coach Shrestha. Nepal is hosting the championship from September 20-29 at APF stadium, Halchowk.

Coach Shrestha will finalize the squad very soon. The team is also planning to go to Thailand for a camp. ANFA will finalize the camp by Friday.

Seven SAARC countries are taking part in the event.

Group 'A': Nepal, Bhutan, Maldives & Pakistan.

Group 'B': Bangladesh, India & Srilanka.

Top two teams from the group will play semifinals.

Nepal are the defending champions. Nepal will play against Pakistan in the opening match at 11 AM.
