Nepal Coach Johan Kalin Axes Five Players Including Kamal Shrestha & Nitin Thapa

Nepal coach Johan Kalin has axed five players from national team squad.

Kalin axed left back Kamal Shrestha, prolific midfielder Nitin Thapa, Sesehang Aangdembe, Amit Tamang and Mickchen Tamang on Tuesday.

These players except Kamal Shrestha will join SA Games squad, ANFA said.

Coach Bal Gopal Maharjan is preparing the team for South Asian mega event.

Nepal is preparing for FIFA World Cup 2022 round 2 Asian qualifiers. It is grouped with Australia, Jordan, Kuwait and Chinese Taipei.
