Nepal is grouped with Australia, Jordan, Kuwait and Chinese Taipei in FIFA World cup 2022 round 2 qualifiers.

Nepal will play its first home match against Kuwait in Kuwait city on September 5, 2019.

Due to unavailability of international stadium in Nepal, team Nepal is playing its home match away.

The only stadium, Dasharath stadium is under massive renovation.
