Province 1 government has honored Nepal women's team players with Nrs 1 lakh each.

The government had announced Nrs 1 lakh each to the players after entering final of SAFF women's championship 2019. Team Nepal lost to India 3-1 in the final match.

Province 1 CM Sherdhan Rai distributed cash prizes to the players and the officials.

Minister Jiwan Ghimire, ANFA president Karma Tsering Sherpa, spokesperson Kiran Rai and other officials were present in the program.

Yesterday, Biratnagar metro honored the players with Nrs 50,000 each.
