2nd Nuwakot gold cup got underway on Wednesday at Adarsha multiple campus ground, Battar, Nuwakot.

Hosts Nuwakot XI – playing with A Division league players – thrashed Dip Sikha yuwa samuha, Naikap 5-0 to enter second round.

Bishwas Shrestha scored a hat trick while Patrick and Dinesh Rajbanshi scored apiece for the winners.

Hat trick hero Shrestha became the man of the match and received Nrs 10,000 cash, which is sponsored by Sakura Nepal consultancy.
