Western region sports development committee has started demolition of two parapets at Pokhara stadium.
The committee is constructing a brand new stadium for 2019 SA Games.
"Two parapets at the stadium will be demolished in a month. It will cost Rs 4.4m to do so", office chief Prakash Baral told GoalNepal.
President of the committee, Khagaraj Paudel informed GoalNepal that six international firms had shown their interest to construct the stadium.
"There are six international firms who are interested to construct the stadium. National sports council will soon announce the bid winner", Paudel said.
Nepal government is spending Nrs 100 crore to construct 25-30k seater stadium.
Paudel added that the estimation could go high depending upon the project that NSC will finalize.
2019 SA Games women's football will be played in the brand new stadium.
