Hosts Malpi and Saipal academy have registered win in the on-going 1st Malpi Cup at Nepal Army phycial centre, Lagankhel.

Malpi defeated Santwona college 3-0. Aalok Karki, Subham Shakya and Siddhantha Gurung scored apiece for the winners.

Saipal defeated Arunima 2-1 in the second match on Monday. Ram Dhakal and Sagar Katuwal scored apiece for Saipal. Ajay Khadka scored for Arunima.

In other matches, LA defeated DAV 2-1 and KU City defeated Gitanjali college 1-0.

Malpi college is organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of Rs 1 lakh.
