Garden FC, B13, Sahara Club & LG Association have entered semifinals in 6th Sangam cup in Pokhara.

Garden Club defeated the hosts Sangam Club 2-1 in the first quarterfinal match played at Pokhara stadium on Wednesday. The game ended in 1-1 draw in regular time and was forced into the extra time. Dhurba Ghimire became the man of the match.

In the second quarterfinal match, B13 defeated Bhadrakali team 7-2 in a high scoring match.

Man of the Match Aaba scored four goals alone for B13 side. Bishwas Shrestha also contributed two goals, while the other goal was scored by Nawaraj Gurung. Sumit Shrestha and Manoj Gurung scored consolation goals for Bhadrakali team.

LG Association ousted Damside club 1-0 to enter last four. Ajit Gurung scored the match winning goal in the extra time.

In the last quarterfinal match, Sahara club defeated Ranjan Memorial FC 2-0. Henry, the foreigner player Sahara brought in for the tournament scored both the goals for Sahara team.

Semifinals matches will be played on Thursday.

Sangam club is organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of Rs 1,25,000.
