Nepal Army Club came from a goal behind to pave its way to semifinals of 17th Aaha!Rara Gold Cup.

In the second quarterfinal match played at Pokhara stadium on Sunday, Nepal Army Club defeated Himalayan Sherpa Club 3-1.

Himalayan Sherpa Club took lead in the 27th minute through Patrick Goha utilizing pass of Tridev Gurung.

Nawayug Shrestha scored the equalizer in the 71st minute through header in a free kick ball off Santosh Tamang. Shrestha scored the stunner in the 79th minute.

George Prince Karki extended the lead in the 90+1 minute.

Two goal hero Shrestha became the man of the match and received Nrs 5,000 cash.

Ruslan Three Star club will play against United Sikkim FC on Monday.

Sahara club is organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of Nrs 8,01,000.
