Dangihat gold cup got underway at Dangihat, Morang on Wednesday.

APF Jhapa defeated Dharan XI 3-1 in the opening match.

Sushil Rai scored the opener for APF in 23rd minute. Dhan Bahadur Shrestha doubled the lead in 37th minute. Shrestha scored again in 42nd minute.

Subarna Limbu scored a consolation goal for Dharan in 66th minute.

Buddiman Rai became the man of the match. He received Rs 3,000 cash.

Dangihat yuwa club is organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of Rs 1,11,111.
