Sainik school has won the title of ANFA Kaski inter school football championship.

Sainik defeated Amarsingh MA VI 5-4 on penalties in the final match played in Pokhara on Monday. Both teams had played 0-0 draw in regulation time.

The champions received Rs 15,000 while runners up team got Rs 10,000.

In girls category, Children academy defeated Tarakunj 3-1 on penalties to lift the title.

The champions got Rs 10,000 while runners up team got Rs 7,000.

Gandaki porvince minister Nardevi Pun, MLA Dipak Koirala, district sports development committee president Yam Gurung, ANFA Kaski VP Ishwor Gurung, tournament coordinator Bishwo Tandukar jointly distributed prizes to the winners.
