Nepal secured its place in the final with a 1-0 win over Lebanon on Thursday in its second match. Sabitra Bhandari's only goal in the 42nd minute of the match at the Dasharath Stadium was the deciding goal of the match.
Nepal had defeated Kyrgyzstan 1-0 in its first match. Now, Nepal will face a strong Myanmar in the final match of the league stage on Sunday.
Myanmar entered the final with two consecutive wins after defeating Kyrgyzstan 5-0 in the first match held on Thursday. Myanmar had defeated Lebanon 3-1 in its first match.
Kyrgyzstan and Lebanon, who suffered two consecutive losses, are out of the competition. However, these two will face each other for prestige in their final match of the league stage on Sunday.
