News ANFA Women's League: Koshi Continues Winning Streak

Under the ANFA Women's League National Football Tournament, while Koshi Province maintained its winning streak, Walling Municipality, Syangja also registered an excellent victory.

Koshi beat Bagmati Youth Club, Sarlahi 2-1 in the first match of the day at the ANFA Complex on Thursday. While Samiksha Magar scored one goal for Koshi, the other goal was scored by Divya Esmali as a suicide goal. Similarly, Bishnu Maya scored a goal for Bagmati.

Koshi Province, which has won its second consecutive victory, is in the hunt for the title with 100 percent victory. Bagmati has only 3 points from two matches.

Similarly, in another match on Thursday, Walling won 4-0 against Karnali Pradesh. For Walling, African player Caklin Nasali scored a hat-trick and Shukriya Mia scored another goal.

A total of 10 participating teams, the winner of the league will receive 1 million in cash along with the title, while the runner-up will receive 0.5 million.
