Each day in Taplejung Gold Cup 2081, one spectator will be declared as 'Fan of the Match' and will be given a ball signed by Kiran Chemjong, the goalkeeper and captain of the Nepali national team as a prize.

The Chairman of Lakhe Jatra Steering Committee, Devraj Gurung, informed that the prize has been arranged to express the joy of captain Chemjong winning 100 caps for the country and a total of 7 lucky spectators will be given prizes throughout the tournament.

President Gurung met captain Chemjong at ANFA Complex Satdobato on Thursday. During the meeting, Captain Chemjong said that he had heard the popularity of Taplejung Gold Cup and the football craze in Taplejung. He also said that football is not only entertainment, but also respect for the elders, inspiration for the new generation, an important resource for making the market sustainable, and a means of promoting tourism.
