
In the last two matches of the second round of the ANFA Youth League on Friday, Manang Masryangdi Club won their second consecutive victory, while Machindra Football Club was held to a draw.
Manang defeated Tribhuvan Army Football Club by a narrow margin of 1-0 in the match at the ANFA complex located in Satdobato. Saman Hatuwal scored the only decisive goal for Manang and gave the team three important points.
Similarly, in another match on Friday, Machindra was forced to share the points by drawing 2-2 with Jawalakhel Youth Club. Anil Thing and Kabir Tamang scored for Machindra. On the other hand, Vivash Darlami and Anish Chaudhary scored for Jawalakhel.
A total of 12 teams are participating in the competition based on double round robin league. The team that gets the top position in the league will be the winner. The winner will receive 1 lakh in cash along with the title, while the second place team will receive 50,000.
