Chatya Sa Library, Damak, Jhapa has won the title of 7th Goalbazar Mayor Gold Cup Knockout Football Tournament.

Despite being reduced to ten players in the finals held on Thursday, Chatya Sa Library managed to win the title by defeating Gurudham Football Club, Siraha 4-1.

Jaya Gurung, Paras Karki, Roshan Dhimal and Shishir Lekhi scored goals in Chatya Sa Library's victory. Yami scored only one goal for Gurudham who was defeated there. In the second half of the game, Milan Rai of Chatya Sa Library left the field after receiving a red card, but it did not affect the team's victory.

Chatya Sa Library, which became the winner, won 351,000 in cash along with the title, while the runner-up Gurudham was forced to settle for 2,100,000 in trophies, medals and certificates. Paras Karki of Chatya Sa Library was elected Man of the Match in the final match.

In other individual categories, Ayush Limbu of Chatya Sa was chosen as the best goalkeeper and Sourav Shrestha of Banda Gurudham was chosen as the best defender. Chatya Sa Shishir Lekhi became the best forward when Jaya Gurung of Chatya Sa Library was declared as the midfielder.

Ramesh Dahal of Chatya Sa Library, the best coach, and the highest scorer award was won by Abayomi of Gurudham. Similarly, Kuldeep Karki of Gurudham FC was declared the best player of the tournament.
