News 28 Bigah FC Enters Final Of Central College 1st Bharatpur Championship

After defeating Ghairung FC in an exciting match, Central College entered the finals of the 1st Bharatpur Football Championship.

In the first semi-final held today (Tuesday), they defeated Ghairung FC in sudden death and entered the final. The scheduled time of the exciting match was tied at 2-2.

28 Bigah couldn't save the lead they took twice at the scheduled time of the game. Bishwa Lama scored both goals for him.

No goals were scored in the regulation time and the game was pushed to a tiebreaker. Even in the tiebreaker, the match was pushed to sudden death after the tie was 2-2. Goalkeeper Birendra Saru Magar of 28 Bigah, who saved two shots in the tiebreaker, became the man of the match.

28 Bigah will play the winner of the second semi-final for the title. In the second semi-final, Abukhairahani rural municipality and Gaindakot FC will meet on Wednesday. The game will be played at 3 pm.

The tournament organized by Chitwan 11 Football Club will continue till 10th of Chaitra. The winner of the competition will receive Rs 3 lakh 3 thousand and the runner-up will get Rs 1 lakh 50 thousand. The competition has been organized on the occasion of Bharatpur visit year 2024.
