News Nepal Vs Bahrain Can't Be Played In Nepal !

Nepal will not be able to play against Bahrain at their home ground in the World Cup qualifiers.

There is a rule that all World Cup qualifying matches will be played home and away. Accordingly, the first leg against Bahrain should be held in Nepal on Chaitra 8 and the second leg on Chaitra 13 in Bahrain.

But the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has refused to hold Nepal's home game in Kathmandu citing the standard of of the playing field in Kathmadu.

The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) issued a notice on Friday and said that the home game scheduled to be held on Chaitra 8 will not take place in Nepal.

"Now the game will be held outside the country, which will be announced soon", ANFA said. On Chaitra 13, Nepal will play an away game in Bahrain. But for the home game, Nepal will offer another place.

Bahrain complained to the AFC that Dashrath Stadium was not suitable for playing. After that complaint, the team of AFC came and inspected the ground.
