SAMBA Declared The Top Scorer Of WAFF Women's Championship 2024
Even though Nepal ended up as the runner-up in the WAF Women's Championship, Nepal's star forward Sabitra Bhandari won the top scorer award.
Sabitra, who scored a total of 9 goals throughout the tournament, missed the final match due to club duty. In the closing ceremony, team manager Bindra Dewan accepted the award for the highest goal scorer of Sabitra.
Jordanian captain Mesa Jabarah was chosen as the best player of the tournament.
Sherin Al Salabi of Jordan also became the best goalkeeper. Remember, in the final, Nepal was defeated in a tiebreaker against the former champion Jordan. Both teams played a 2-2 draw at the scheduled time.
