News Morang: Singadevi Sidhuwa FC Wins Title Of Arju Rice Mill Dangihat State Level Knockout Championship

Singadevi Siduwa Football Club Dhankuta won the title of the second Arju Rice Mill Dangihat State Level Knockout Football Tournament.

Along with the title, Siduwa received a trophy medal and certificate along with 1 lakh 50 thousand in cash, while the runner-up Dharan FC handed over a certificate of 75 thousand 500 rupees.

In the final match, Sinhadevi Siduwa won the title by defeating Dharan FC Sunsari in Tie breaker.

Siduwa defeated Dharan 3-1 PSO to become the winner. Abhishek Limbu, Ashim Rai and Bishal Bhandari scored goals for Sidhwa. Only Milan Rai scored for Dharan. Dharan's Biku Rai and Roman Limbu's shots were saved by Sidhuwa's goalkeeper Sujit Chaudhary. Sachin Shrestha's ball was out of the pole.

Man of the match Sidhuwa's goalkeeper Sujit Choudhary, outstanding midfielder Ashim Rai, outstanding defense Bishal Bhandari, outstanding coach Bishwas Shrestha were announced while Dharan's Milan Rai was declared the outstanding forward and high scorer, Sachin Shrestha was declared the outstanding keeper. Ajit Chowdhury of the organizer was declared the emerging player of the competition and received a cash prize of 5,000.

The winning team was awarded by State Parliament Gyanendra Subedi, Geeta Timsina, Belbari Nagar Deputy Chief Neetu Thapa Koirala.

The competition was organized by the Dangihat Jagruti Youth Club at Belbari 9 and was conducted from Magh 26 to Falgun 5. Eight clubs participated in the competition.
