News KP Oli Cup From Falgun 11; Winners To Get NRs 11 Lakh

The National Youth Association of Nepal is going to hold the KP Oli Cup 2080 from Falgun 11th to 19th.

The Youth Association gave information about the KP Oli Cup in a press conference today in Baneshwar, Kathmandu. President Kshitiz Thebe informed that Nepal's A Division League clubs and foreign clubs will participate in the game, which will start with the main slogan, "Where there is youth, there is sport".

Clubs from India and Bhutan will also participate in the tournament. Chairman Thebe said that the tournament is going to be organized because it is possible to influence the youth through sports and entertainment. Speaking to journalists, President Thebe said that while the government is not paying attention to the sports sector, the youth association is going to hold a historic tournament.

Speaking at the press conference, UML Politburo member and in-charge of Yuva Sangh, Mahesh Basnet, said that such competitions, which are being held by Yuva Sangh, will give a positive message to the society. Basnet also praised the recent steps taken by Yuva Sangh against social anarchy.

The competition will be held in Kathmandu from Falgun 11th to 20th. The knockout style matches will be played at Chyasal Stadium till the semi-finals, while the finals will be played at Dasharath Stadium. Clubs from abroad will compete in the tournament along with Nepal's A division.

The winner of the competition will receive 11 lakh rupees and the runner-up will get 5 lakh rupees. Machindra Club won the title of the first edition of KP Oli Cup which was completed last year.
