Manang Marshyangdi Club defeated Nepal Police Club 2-1 to enter semifinals of 3rd Madan Bhandari gold cup.

MMC came from a goal down to beat NPC to enter semifinals in Butwal on Thursday.

Tej Tamang had put NPC ahead in the match.

Anjan Bista scored twice (61'. 75') in the second half to help MMC to win the match.

Bista became the man of the match. He received Rs 10,000 cash.

MMC will meet defending champions Sunaulo Sangam in the second semifinal on Chaitra 17.

Madan Bhandari sports academy is organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of Rs 15 lakh.
