Dharan Women's Football Club, Sunsari has entered the semi-finals of the first Khadak Deputy Mayor Women's Gold Cup Knockout Football Tournament held here.

In the second quarter-final held on Tuesday, Dharan defeated Bagmati Yuva Club, Sarlahi in a tie-breaker to enter the last four. Dharan won 4-3 in the tiebreaker after the match ended in a goalless draw.

Dharan's goalkeeper Sushila Chaudhary was declared the player of the match. The organizers informed that the third quarter-final match on Wednesday 4th January will be played between Gaighat Football Club, Udaipur and Myanglung Sports Club, Tehrathum.

The winner of the competition organized by Namo Buddha Youth Club, Saptari will receive a cash prize of Rs. The final match of the tournament in which a total of eight teams are participating will be held on the 9th of January.
