News Chitwan: Rautahat Women's Vs Dhangadhi In The Final Of Lady Jaycees Cup

Rautahat Women's Football Academy and All Star Sports Academy, Dhangadhi are going to meet for the ongoing Lady Jaycees Cup National Women's Football Tournament in Chitwan. Rautahat and Dhangadhi confirmed the title clash by winning the semi-final match that was completed today.

Rautahat defeated Gokarneshwar Municipality Kathmandu 1-0 in the first semi-final match held at Nepal Police Training Center (Bharatpur Training Centre). Menu's Ale Magar scored the decisive goal to win Rautahat in a competitive match. He scored in the extra time of the game and brought Rautahat closer to the title. Gokarneshwar, who stopped Rautahat throughout the game, was defeated in the last minute because he could not handle it.

Menuka received five thousand rupees as the player of the match.

Similarly, in the second semi-final, Dhangadhi confirmed the title clash with Rautahat by defeating Gandakot Football Club. Dhangadhi defeated Ghandakot 2-0 to reach the final. In his win, captain Niru Thapa scored one goal and another goal was gifted to Dhangadhi. Niru scored in the 25th minute to give Dhangadhi the lead. In the 35th minute, Ghindakot's captain Buksha Wagle scored a suicide goal. As he tried to clear the ball, it hit the net of his own post.

Dhangadhi captain Niru became the player of the match. She received five thousand rupees. The title match will be held on Saturday 9th November at 2 pm.

Organized by Narayangarh Lady Jaycees and with the technical support of Chitwan District Football Association, the winner of the tournament will receive two lakh rupees along with a trophy, while the runner-up will receive one lakh rupees. Similarly, the best player and the best coach in each category will receive 10/10 thousand rupees each.
