The first Chief Minister City level district wide football tournament 2080 is going to be organized in Bardgoria of Kailali under the organization of Bardgoria Sports and Events.

Pramod Malla, the chairman of the organizer Bardagoria Sports and Events, informed that the competition was organized with the aim of identifying and producing players from the municipality level and encouraging them to be healthy, disciplined and diligent to represent the country.

The winning team of the competition will receive a cash prize of Rs 2 lakh 1 thousand and a trophy. Likewise, the second team of the competition will get Rs 1 lakh 5 thousand and a trophy.

Similarly, the best player of the tournament will get Rs 20,000, the best goalkeeper will get Rs 15,000, the best goal scorer will get Rs 15,000, the best defender will get Rs 15,000 and the emerging player of the tournament will also get a trophy with cash of Rs 15,000.

According to the organizers, although it was supposed to start from November 8th, the organizers have informed that the competition has been postponed to November 13th due to some technical reasons. A fee of 6,000 rupees will be charged for team registration.

Three teams from one local level 9 municipalities will be allowed to participate in the competition. According to the organizer, the event will be inaugurated by Kamal Bahadur Shah, the Chief Minister of Sudurpaschim Province Government on 13th Mangsir.

It is estimated that the cost of the tournament to be held at the local sports ground will be around 2.5 million. The organizers have also informed that the best 2 women's teams of the district will play a friendly match in the semi-final match.
