Gokarneshwar Municipality Kathmandu has started victoriously in the Lady Jaycees Cup National Women's Football Tournament which started in Chitwan.
Gokarneshwar beat Abhishek Church Rajahar 1-0 in the opening match at the Nepal Police Academy. Anjali Madamsi scored the decisive goal in Gokarneshwar's victory. His goal in the 19th minute was enough to win Gokarneshwar. In the match, Gokarneshwar created constant pressure against Rajahar. Anjali became player of the match. There will be 3 matches in the tournament on Wednesday.
Chitwan District Football Association and Nawalpur Football Club Nawalpur will meet in the first match at 8 am. In the second match, Rautahat Women's Football Academy and Bagmati Sports Development Committee Makwanpur will meet at 1 pm. Similarly, in the third and final match, All Star Sports Dhangadhi and Sarlahi Women's Football Academy will meet at 3 pm.
The winner of the competition, which will run until November 9, will receive two lakh rupees along with a trophy, while the runner-up will receive one lakh rupees. Similarly, the best player and the best coach in each category will receive 10/10 thousand rupees each. 50 tickets for the semi-finals and 100 rupees for the finals have been arranged for the spectators.
