Kolbote FC & Fungnam sporting club, Chulachuli have entered finals of Shubh Dipawali Cup football tournament organized by the Sports Development Committee at Dokan Danda located in Phakphokthum Rural Municipality 7.

Kolbote and Chulachuli entered the finals in both the semi-final matches held on Friday at Janakalyan Mavi grounds. In the first semi-final match, Kolbote defeated Falgunanda FC 2-0 and came close to the title.

Both goals were scored by Shukraj Rai to defeat the former champions. He was man of the match and won the cash prize.

For Kolbote, Dinesh Sherma took the early lead by scoring within 7 minutes of the game. After 1 minute, Santosh Limbu doubled the lead of the team.

Similarly, in the last semi-final match, Chulachuli won against Angsarang Five Star FC by 3-1 goals.

Diwas Shrestha scored one goal while Anil Bhandari scored 2 goals for Chulachuli. Madan Limbu scored the only goal for Angsarang.

In the competition where 16 teams participated in the competition, the winner will get 1 lakh 25 thousand in cash and the runner-up will have to settle for 75 thousand in cash.
