All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has directed Makwanpur DFA to hold election by Chaitra 24.

Tika Lama had already been elected the president but ANFA didn't approve the election as it was held without central representatives.

VP Mani Kunwar had left the venue on general assembly day following disputes about number of clubs participating in the assembly. Later, election was held under the supervision of Makwanpur district sports development committee which ANFA didn't approve.

Bhaktapur DFA had same problem. They were unable to hold assembly after some clubs went to court.

It didn't stop there.

"Former" VP of Makwanpur DFA Manish Shrestha along with Bhaktapur DFA president Gautam Sukhaju then filed writ at Patan High court demanding their inclusion in the 16th national congress of ANFA, which was supposed to be held on March 28, 2018.

The high court issued interim order against ANFA to hold election until they include those two districts. ANFA, on Monday, postponed election reasoning court's interim order.

Meanwhile, AFC officials are landing Kathmandu today to understand the latest developments of Nepalese football.

National sports council has also written ANFA to let them know about the situation.
