News Damak: Nims Hospital Wins Titlte Of Koshi State Level Inter-Hospital Futsal Tournament

In a thrilling display of sportsmanship and skill, Nims National Hospital of Damak emerged victorious as they clinched the prestigious title at the first-ever Koshi State Level Inter-Hospital Futsal Tournament.

The final match, held at Beast Futsal Ground on a Saturday, saw Nims National Hospital secure their championship status by defeating Virtacity Hospital Virtamod.

The winning team, Nims National Hospital, not only claimed the coveted title but also received a generous reward of Rs 30,000 in cash, a well-deserved shield, and a sparkling trophy. Meanwhile, the valiant runners-up, Virtacity Hospital Virtamod, walked away with Rs 20,000 in cash.

In addition to the team accolades, individual talents were also recognized. Pitambar Niraula of Virtacity Hospital clinched the title of the tournament's best player, while Niraj Bohora of Nims National Hospital and Asim Bhattarai of Virtacity Hospital earned the distinction of being the best goalkeepers. The grand event was graced by the presence of Bhimraj Chaunlagai, President of the Damak City Sports Development Committee, who attended as the chief guest.

The Koshi State Inter-Hospital Futsal Tournament was jointly organized by Damak-based CTC Physiotherapy, Bikas Advertising Agency, and Ropana Wellness Center. The awards ceremony witnessed the chief guest, Chamlagai, along with Bipin Subedi, the owner of Wist Factory, and Vinod Bhattarai, coordinator of the organizing committee, presenting prizes to the winning and runner-up teams.

A total of twelve teams from various districts within Koshi Province participated in this fiercely competitive tournament. Before the tournament's final showdown, a friendly match was played between a team of journalists and the host team. In this spirited encounter, the organizers displayed their prowess on the field and emerged victorious. The inauguration of the Inter-Hospital Futsal Tournament was a significant moment, marked by Regina Bhattarai Prasai, Deputy Head of Damak Municipality, who officiated the event last Saturday.

Vinod Bhattarai, Chairman of the organizing committee, emphasized the tournament's role in fostering harmonious relations between hospitals, as doctors, health workers, hospital management, and operators all actively participated in the competition. The generous support of GK Print Damak and Solar Damak Hospital provided the first and second-place prizes, respectively.
