The Budhanilkantha City Cup, an annual football tournament organized by Budhanilkanth Yuva Samaj, is scheduled for October 28th and 29th this year.

Saksha Shah, the acting president of the organizing society, has confirmed that the preparations for the event, set to take place at the Budhanilkanth school playground, are in their final stages.

In addition, organizers have announced an enticing offer for participating teams: those who register by October 25th will receive three complimentary tickets to witness the World Cup qualifying match between Nepal and Laos at Dasharath Stadium.

The championship's victor will be awarded a cash prize of 1 lakh and the prestigious title, while the runner-up will receive a trophy, medal, and certificate, along with 50,000 in cash.

Notably, the seventh edition of this competition was secured by Ward Number 7 of Budhanilkanth Municipality. In a thrilling final, Ward No. 7 triumphed over Ward No. 9 to clinch the championship.
