The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has designated Deepak Khatiwada, the Vice President of the association, as the coordinator responsible for overseeing the necessary preparations as Nepal readies itself for the inaugural round of selection matches leading to the FIFA World Cup qualification.

During an emergency meeting convened by ANFA, it was resolved that Khatiwada would collaborate with the association to ensure adequate arrangements for the World Cup qualifiers.

Nepal is scheduled to engage in a selection match against Laos on both October 12 and 17, with the matches set to take place on home turf as part of the World Cup qualification process.

Furthermore, the meeting also finalized the ticket pricing structure for the forthcoming match at Dashrath Stadium on October 12, which is part of the World Cup selection.

Under the approved pricing scheme, general admission tickets will be priced at NRs 300, while VIP access will be available at a rate of 500.

In addition to this, the emergency meeting determined that central members of ANFA, namely Purushottam Thapa, Vikas Narayan Shrestha, and spokesperson Suresh Shah, will be entrusted with the responsibility of ticket management.
It has been reported that the meeting will convene to deliberate and reach a verdict regarding the possible removal of ANFA President Pankaj Bikram Nemwang and General Secretary Kiran Rai during a special general meeting scheduled to take place in Hetauda on the 23rd of Kartik.
