Rupandehi: 21st Lisnu Cup Kicks Off

21st Lisnu cup football tournament got underway at Tilottama, Rupandehi on Sunday.

Nawayuwa sports & cultural family, Thutipipal defeated Nawalparasi 11 2-0 in the opening match. Nirajan Khatri scored both goals for the winners and became the player of the match.

In the second match, Kapilvastu 11 defeated 10-man Lumbini province police training centre 4-0.

Earlier, Tilottama mayor Ram Krishna Khand inaugurated the event, which has a winning purse of NRs 3,05,000.
