Hosts Salahesh yuwa club has entered semifinals of Martyr's Hem Narayan memorial cup football tournament.

Salahesh defeated Hetauda football academy 2-1 in the quarterfinal match played at Siraha campus grounds on Monday.

Ranjit Ale and Yannick scored apiece for the winners. Sujan Bhomjan scored one for Hetauda football academy.

Sajin Thapa became the player of the match.

Salahesh yuwa club is organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of NRs 2,51,000.
