Country side academy, Bhaktapur has entered quarterfinals of 7th Suryanagar gold cup football tournament.

Country side academy defeated Abhisek Church Rajahar 1-0 in the pre-quarterfinal match played on Friday. Hardik Bhandari scored the match winner for Country Side.

GK Kumar Gurung became the player of the match and received NRs 3,000 cash.

Waling United will play against hosts Nawa yuwa club, Suryanagar on Saturday.

The championship has a winning purse of NRs 5 lakh.
